How to Measure for the Perfect Fit

To ensure your Lederhosen, Dirndl, and Trachtenwear fit perfectly, follow this guide to take accurate body measurements. Use a soft measuring tape and measure over light clothing for the best results.

We provide measurements in both inches and centimeters.

Men's Lederhosen & Bundhosen

(Traditional knee-length and full-length leather pants)

  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, just above the belly button. (inches/cm)

  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips. (inches/cm)

  • Thigh: Measure around the widest part of your thigh. (inches/cm)

  • Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the bottom hem where you want your Lederhosen/Bundhosen to end. (inches/cm)

Lederhosen naturally fit snug at first but stretch over time.

Women's Lederhosen

(Tailored for a feminine fit)

  • Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist. (inches/cm)

  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips. (inches/cm)

  • Thigh: Measure around the thickest part of your thigh. (inches/cm)

  • Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the bottom hem. (inches/cm)
